5. An Intensive Polish Reading Class started on 7 May with
seven students, including one from ORR.
Three persons completed the NSA Chinese Course on 18 May.
Two advanced trainees began a full-time Chinese Reading

6. On 23 May, 19 FDD personnel received a one-hour briefing
on guided missiles by OBI and ORR representatives.

OPERATIONS
1. The 70th and 71st meetings of the Subcommittee on
Exploitation of Foreign Language Publications were held 4 and 18
May. The review of the Communist Far East program was completed.
The review of the Free World program was begun and will be continued
at the next meeting on 1 June.

2. On 7 Ma the Division initiated a Linguist Service in
Building. as assigned to handle this
new Division outpost.
3. Reference to the.CTS Index prevented 97 cases of dupli-
cation totaling 3,179 pages.
