COMMENT:
A small, indigenously designed, single
engine, swept-wing jet aircraft was
observed at
the Nan-chang Airframe Plant 320. The
ultimate role of this aircraft is
unknown but
if produced it could possibly be used as a short range or point interceptor.
The NAN B if it follows the normal trend for new or modified aircraft in China, will
probably be
seen next undergoing flight evaluation
at the Hsian Airframe Plant.
