OF POSSIBLE MISSILES AT THIS COMPLEX.
2.5 NM NORTH OF THE MAIN SUPPORT BASE AT THE SSATC.
THIS COMPLEX IS ONE OF 36 DEPLOYED COMPLEXES THUS
FAR IDENTIFIED IN THE USSR.
ANALYSIS OF MISSILES OBSERVED AT SARY-SHAGAN LAUNCH
COMPLEX A. AND TALLINN PLRS LAUNCH COMPLEX SUGGESTS
TWO DIFFERENT MISSILE CONFIGURATIONS ARE ASSOCIATED
WITH THE PLRS SYSTEM. THE SINGLE-STAGE MISSILE WITH
SHARPLY SWEPT-BACK DELTA WINGS IDENTIFIED AT TALLINN
IS DESIGNATED "PLRS-SERIES 1", AND THE MISSILE WHICH
APPEARS TO HAVE A CLUSTER OF LARGE BOOSTERS, AS SEEN
AT SARY-SHAGAN, IS DESIGNATED "PLRS-SERIES 2".
