1. (S/D) SIGNIFICANCE: A SIGNAL DEPLOYMENT AND PROBABLE COMMAND
AREA ARE NEWLY IDENTIFIED APPROXIMATELY 1_NM SE OF THIS
INSTALLATION.
2. (S/D) REMARKS: A SIGNAL DEPLOYMENT, (GRAPHIC 1 OF 2) IN AN
ORCHARD, A -T-22-56-28N 082-23`-17W CONSISTS OF ONE CATS EYE/CATS
PAW RADIO RELAY WITH TWO ERECTED ANTENNAS, AND TWO PROBABLE
SIGNAL VAN TRUCKS WITH THREE PROBABLE ANTENNAS. ALL OF THE
VEHICLES ARE DEPLOYED IN REVETMENTS. THE DEPLOYMENT AREA IS
ALSO SERVED BY LANDLINES WHICH EXTEND FROM A NEARBY ROAD INTO
THE ORCHARD. THE LANDLINE APPEARS TO SERVE EACH OF THE
DEPLOYED VEHICLES. THE PROBABLE COM14AND POST AREA (GRAPHIC 2
OF 2) IS ADJACENT TO THE NORTH EDGE OF THE SIGNAL DEPLOYMENT.
THIS AREA, ALSO HEAVILY WOODED, CONSISTS OF AT LEAST THREE
PERSONNEL BUNKERS.(ONE STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION), TWO SMALL
SUPPORT BUILDINGS (POSSIBLE QUARTERS) UNDER CONSTRUCTION, AND
EXTENSIVE PERSONNEL TRENCHING. STACKS OF PREFAB CONCRETE
SECTIONS ARE IN THE VICINITY. BOTH THE DEPLOYMENT AND COMMAND
POST WERE PRESENT AS EARLY
