You are cordially invited to a conversation with David Kimche,
Director-General of Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Friday
April 27th at 3:45pm in the AEI boardroom on the twelfth floor.
David Kimche joined Israel's civil service in 1953 where he served
in the Prime Minister's office. He headed the Israeli negotiating team
in the 1982-83 talks with the Government of Lebanon. He was appointed
to his current position in 1980.
Dr. Kimche received his Ph.D. from Hebrew University in 1971. He
did his military service in the 1948 war. He was born in London
educated in England and Switzerland, and emigrated to Palestine in 1946.
He has been a research fellow at the Shiloah Institute of Tel Aviv
University and a guest lecturer. He has published several works on
Israeli and Middle East affairs.
