Kirkpatrick Sheldon,
b) Referred to the article on CIA. by Warren Unna published in HIVRPER,'a
April 1958 and stated that in the future when we learn about an article to be
published on the Agency, this fact be n-aised at a Deputies' Meeting. ACTION: LG.
Mr. Lloyd:
Noted he had looked into the question of providing fall-out shelter in our
new building and it had been determined that a preliminary start on this progr.i.m
would increase the cost of construction about $30, 000 and cause a two weeks'
delay. He pointed out this would only make space for about 0 employees
and later costs to provide for filters, food, etc. , would run in the neighborhood
of $250, 000 in addition to probably losing our garage space. After some dis-
cussion it was the consensus that in any event some attempt should be made Lc=
provide for such shelter and the Director and Mr. Lloyd undertook to discuss
this matter with the Director of ODM.
