On Saturday, 22 January 1983,
were called at home and asked to come into work on a special
job. The job was for
of DCI Leg. Council.
asked that the Photo Branch process and print several
rolls of B/W film. This film was the property of Sen. Patrick
Leahy who had just returned from a TDY and wanted the film
processed as soon as possible. We were assured by
that this film had great intelligence value, and the request for
service had the blessing of the DCI.

prints from my Central America trip. I needed those
photos for a Monday morning press conference, and I
knew of no other way to have them available by Sunday
evening so I could have them for an early morning
flight to Vermont.
Coming in on Saturday was a considerable incon-
venience, and I want you to know how grateful I am.
The prints were excellent and I made good use of them.
