Highlights of activity observed during this period include: 1. SA-2 missile activity 2. Airfield activity 3. Port activity 4. Electronics activity 5. Military activity 6. Other activity SA-2 Missile Activity During the 6-month period, 4 SA-2 sites (including I possible) were either established or in the process of being constructed. Prior to this period, 17 of the SA-2 sites were of the unrevetted field type and had been constructed in a short time period (2-7 days). Of the 4 new sites covered in this report, 2 are revetted, 1 is unrevetted, and construction at the fourth has thus far been confined to the support facilities. In addition, Guanabacoa SAM Site was revetted during this 6-month period. The construction or revetting of these sites required from 2 to. more than 6 months. Majana SAM Site 2 (Figure 2). Palma Soriano SAM Site (Figure 4).
