A military storage site is located 5 nautical
miles (nm) east of the city of Omsk, USSR, and
1.5 nm north of Omsk Airfield East at 54-59-
20N 73-32-20E (Figure 1). Military activity
near the site, heavy security measures, prob-
able floodlighting, and lack of activity within
the site indicate that the site is used for spe-
cialized military storage. This report is based
on TALENT photography of = recent KEY-
HOLE photography shows no significant change
in the site.
Storage Buildings. Four large gable-roofed
storage buildings and two small support build-
ings are located within the site, which measures
1,850 by 1,500 feet (Figures 2 and 3). Each

has two gable-roofed entryways which measure
- feet. Light earth scarring at the ends
of these buildings suggests the presence of an
additional entrance. An object, which may be
a lightning rod, is located midway in front of
each storage building. A small open stor-
age area is visible in front of the storage
building in the southwest corner of the site.
Security. The site is secured by a double
fence; the fences are approximately 155 feet
apart. Poles which probably support lighting
equipment are located at each corner and mid-
way along each side of the interior fence.
Guard towers are located just inside each of
three corners of the exterior fence. A-small
guard post and a guardhouse are located near
