is located on the west bank of the
Amur River at the southeast edge of Komsomolsk
at 50-33N 137-02E (Figure 1).
The shipyard (Figure 2) is secured by a
wall and contains shipbuilding, ship repair and
fitting out, storage and administration facilities.
The ship handling facilities consist of a large
fitting out pier, five short piers, a quay and a
launching basin. The major components of the
shipyard are rail served.
Dimensions of annotated facilities are tabu-
lated below. An additional 24 small buildings
are not annotated.
