1. The critical requirement for additional office space in the
Headquarters Building makes it necessary to close the Rendezvous Room,
effective 15 August 1981. The South Cafeteria balcony will be converted
to language training classrooms.
2. In addition, in order to expand the seating accommodations,
the decorative planters containing trees and other greenery have been
removed from the South Cafeteria at the request of the Employee Cafe-
teria Committee.
3. Consideration will be given to reestablishing the Rendezvous
Room whenever space becomes available in the Headquarters Building in
the future.
