1. In response to the referenced requirement, a search of GIANT
SCALE photography of I Iwas conducted to confirm or deny the
presence of a naval facility on the island of Sosuap-Do (37-50N 126-46E).
2. A study of cloud-free, stereo photography of excellent inter-
pretability failed to disclose any evidence of naval activity at or near
the referenced coordinates. The island of Taesuap-To (37-.48N 125-46E),
immediately south of the referenced coordinates, has numerous automatic
weapons positions and extensive personnel trenching; however, no naval
facilities or vessels are present.
