I am. collecting material for a factual
anthology on the O.S.S., and Miss Seult of the
V.O.S.S. has suggested that I get in touch with
you in connection with four matters.
First, I'd like permission to reprint an
excerpt from your own book on the German Underground-
at the regular anthology fee. Second, I'd be
particularly pleased if you would consider writing
a foreword or introduction - of any length you deem
suitable. Third, does the C.I.A. library have a list
of or collection of articles and books on O.S.S. and
would this material be open for study ? Fourth, are
there declassified photos of O.S.S. personnel and
operations that might be available ?
As a writer who has published two novels and
appeared in magazines ranging from the aaturday
vening Post to the Air University Quarterly Review,
I really believe in this book. I realize that you
are extremely busy, but hopefully look forward to
hearing from you soon.
