1. A.1though the su p s: tiorr had prevailed in textile circles in the
Russian zone that deliveries of raw materials from Russia for the
textile industry would be discontinued in 1947, this has not
prov6d to be the ease. In 1946 the deliveries from Russia amounted
to 23 j000 tons of cotton and 5 500 tons of wool. The S? A has
"guaranteed" 33,000 tons of, cotton and 13,350 tons of wool for
1947. "Ifs certain conditions are fulfilled", an additional 15,000
torts of cotton an.. 20 9000 tons of wool will be imported from the
Soviet union in 1947 e
