In response to your request for cost information on the contract,
I am enclosing two types of data. The first is a chart which we keep
on a regular basis for the funding under A-101. This shows total
funds available, planned expenditures, and actual expenditures on both
a monthly and a cummulative basis; and there is a monthly breakdown
of cost into labor, overhead, G and A, and other direct cost. The
chart also has our forecast of expenditures by future months which might
help you in planning funding. We post this chart monthly and will plan
to send it to you once a month if that would be helpful. Similar charts
are enclosed for A-102 and A-103 (MJO 5040). We also have these
charts for NY-A-501 and A-104 if you would like to have copies of them.
The second item I am enclosing is an analysis of the funding and
costs incurred under contract A-101 by major area. Again, this is a
take-off from one of our regular monthly reports, and we would be
happy to send it to you on a monthly basis. The current report covers
contract funding through Amendment 13, and therefore shows expendi-
tures in excess of funding in some areas which have been covered by
subsequent proposals from us and are probably covered by funding in
Amendment 14.
We would be happy to furnish any cost information which you may
want. We do not want to deluge you with a surfeit of this type of in-
formation especially since you have an auditor in the plant who has
ready access to more detailed information; but we would be only too
happy to comply with any needs which you may have.
