Abstract : Studied the effects of spasmolytin (chlorobydrate of the diethylanino-
ethyl cater of diphenylacetic acid),, tipben (eblorabydrate of the
diethylsminoethyl ester of thiodiphenylacetic acid), and pentapben
(chlarohydrate of the dietbylmlnoetbyl ester of pbanylcyclopentene-
carboxylic acid) on experimentally induced broncbosp~ In cats. The
bronebospasm vas induced vith prost'spi and with carbonyl cboline. All
three preparations vere found to possess broncholytic activity, decreasing
bronebospasms induced by prostignine,, carbonyl cboline, and by stimulation
of the vagus nerve with induction current. The broncholytic activity of
the three drug@ vas equal. Five graphs; five references (all USSR; all
since 1940).

Abst:-act The tests were done on rats, rabbits and dogs. The
analgesic action of isopromedole (I) is close in effect
to promedole (II). In tests with rats it was shown,
that I has a stronger and more prolonged analgesic ef-
fect, than II. It was established that the action of
I in a concentration of 1o-5 lovers the muscle tote and
reduces the amplitude of contractions, and in 10- fully
relaxes the intestinel mincle of an isolated rabbit in-
testine. In tests with intact okul-Is using the Nikolay-
ev-S u b b o t i n Method, it was found that in doses of
1 to 3 mg/kg produces a rise in Lhe tonus and an increase
