ABSTRACT: It has been experimentally established that Se-rectifierf; are
electroacoustic oscillators radiating intense directed sound at Specific resonant
frequencies which are multiples of the fundamental a-c frequency. Tj';,ie constant
shift, which acts in the opposite direction and does not exceed a given limit,
amplifies the sound as it is transmitted through the a-c rectifier. These methods
make it possible to record both strong and weak sonic oscillations. The observed
effect can be used for multiplying the electric oscillation frequency. The quality

ABSTRACT: The purpose of,the Investigation was to determine the optimal condenoation~
conditions under which the uncontrolled substrate heating and heat rel case of the
vapor-crystal pha3e transition are reduced to a minimum. The tests were made vith a: I
specially developed evaporator and the substrate temperature was measured with a
Cu-Ni. thermocoupie-in the form of a film deposited directly on the substrate. Mca-
surements were made of the substrate beat rise and phase transition heat release
against the time, of the coercive force and the displacement of the domain boundaries
against the film thickness, and of the relative change in the coercive force as a
function of the uniaxial anisotropy of the films. The test consisted of checking the
influence of different condensation parameters on the magnetic properties of the

films. Tbe results show that the substrate temperature is noticeablyincreased.by
the thermal radiation of the evaporator and by the heat released in the phase transi-
tion. This temperature rise can be reduced by increasing the condensation rate or by
using an evaporator with smaller heating area. Comparison of data obf,-ained for dif-
ferent condensation rates, residual gas pressures, and substrate temperatures sholds
thatthe magnetic properties are most influenced by the substrate temperature. With
increasing temperature) the coercive force of films of thickness 300 .. 900 A increase
and since this in the thickness range in which the anisotropy energy constitutes it
major fraction of the domain-boundary energy) It is concluded that~iit-Yedit`one of the
causes of this increase is the inhomogeneity of the uniaxial-anisotrol)y field.. Orig.

round frame the magnetic field with all elemeats,, but with a right angle
one, interacts; it interacts only with those windings which are situated
ix the two side frame.
Finally it in ancertaixed that -with the same logarithms the round frame
weighs lee* then. the right ugle.

ABSTRACT: The development of magnetic film memories is impossible without
investigations of the relationship of the performance curves ofmatrices to the
magnetic properties of the elements and investigations of the patterns of varia-
tions in the geometric and technological parameters of the films. The direct ,
aim of these investigations is the determination of the optimal magnetic properties
of the films and the determination of their parameters. The present article in-
vestigates the dependence of the threshold characteristics ofniagnatic film ele-
ments of matrices on the coercive force of the shift of domaka boundaries Hcl
/4 the uniaxial anisotropy field Hk, and on the dispersion of the mean directions of
