Captain Olsen stated he was drafting re,)ly to AEC letter nominating
representatives to the CI1: Readin- Panel. The Director hud approved
liaison between OCD and Dr. Fine, C, for the purpose of passing
raw materiel direct to AEC relative to their subject. The Deputy
Director stated that the Director believes some decision Will be
made by the -.SC by next ',';edne --day, 20 November, regarding the
method for handling all EC intelligence. The Deputy Director
believed the reply to AEC letter should be relayed until the
decision had been made and stated, further, that if the NSC decides
that CIA will hendle all that type of intelligence for : C, it will
not be necessary to have representatives on the neaain _'anel.

material--just that which the Reading Center determined advisable to
disseminate to them.)
