ABSTRACT: In the Chernovtsy oblast' a weights and measuring equipment repair
shop has been transformed into a laboratory for checking the condi-
tions of measuring equipment in the kolkhozes. For periodic checks
the necessary equipment was mounted on two trucks which serve as
mobile laboratories. The measuring devices are not only checked,
but also cleaned, painted, etc. The checks are made two times a
year. After 2-3 years the number of devices which need repair de-
creases sharply.
