frequency investigations were devoted either to the design of sound generatore. or

vestigated the properties of liquids at frequencies above 300 Mcs. The experJment
vas based on the method of nonresonarit excitation and reception of sound by piezo-
electric quartz slabs and rods placed in coaxial resorators (Fig. 1). Some pro-
