This is accomplished by aerosol atomizing aqueous or hydrochloric acid solu- tions of iron salts containing 15-50% of film-forming salt. To improve the reflec- tivity in the infrared spectral range, up to 10% of oxides of the elements in the fourth and fifth groups of the periodic table (for instance, tin, titanium, or anti- mony) are introduced to the film-forming eolution. Class 42, No. 184494 SOURCE: Izobret prom obraz tov zn, no. 15, 1966, 102 11 1 1 1 TOPIC TAGS: meajuring apparatus, scale model, wind tunnel instrumentation ABSTRACT: An apparatus for measuring the rigidityllf flexible couplings in dynami- cally similar aircraft models during wind t_u_n_n_er_test~1'Ys described. The apparatus contains an electric motor with a reductor which rotates the propeller fastened to two support bearings, and a panel with a busbar and electric contacts. The propeller is equipped with a shoe which on its upper portion has an interchangeable sleevewith various calibrated openings for wire (springs). On its lower portion, it has a balance arm with reciprocal contacts. After the shoe has moved a certain distance on thq panel, the above contacts switch off the electric motor and thereby a preset wire length is fixed. This apparatus not only decreases the time necessary for an experiment but also increases the accuracy of results obtained. Abstract: The authors describe their experiences with isolated regional perfusion. They discuss in detail regional chemotherapy by this tech- nique in five cases involving malignant tumor localized in the lower extrem- ity. The operational techniques, possible complications, and results obtained were presented in detail. 7 references, including I German, 1 Western, and 5 Hungarian. Figure 3 pre- sents a graphical method of finding the protective distance for transmission lines; figure 5 shows the method applied to transformers. The author concludes that on transmission lines with iron poles quench gaps should be fitted on every pole; on wooden-pole lines on every second or third pole. With trans- Card 1/2 formers, the quench gap should be installed in the
