taii7-edgood results utth.combined injections of hyaluronid-
ase with hydrocortisone or prednisolone in almost all cases
in which injection of hydrocortisone alone was ineffective,
and even complete cure noted in patients with peribrachial
plexitis. Authors recommend this method for rehabilitation
of patients both for hospitals and outpatient departments,
noting that preservation of sterility of the injections is
most essential. 7hore are 15 references, of Which 7 are in
Polish and 8 in German.

Abstract :A comparison is made of the literature data on the chara,ater of the emission
X-ray spectrum of carbon contained in graphite) diamond) lampblack, car-
bOrundim, and carbonates; the comparison indicates good agreement between the
measured wavelengths of the spectrum. The difference in the Intensities of
the three components of the fine structure 6f the emission X-ray spectrum
of carbon from varions modifications and chemical compounds (44.8o, 44.6o,
and 44.37 Al in considered as the result of the transition of ona of the
electrons (->P, ID, 'LS) on the K orbit. The component correspoi;cling to 18 pre-
Aomimstes is diamond and carborundum, and that to 3P predominates in graphite.
The values of the energy of-the K-level of the C atoms computed from the wave-
lengths of the classified components, agree with each other and with the re-
sults obtained in the study of the X-ray absorption spectrum of C Nagausson
T., lavesiti&%ttons into absorption spectra in the extremely-soft X-ray regioa.
