Two cases of late damage to the small intestine by X-ray radiation are described.
which caused a fistula and obstruction of the small intestine, In the first case 18 yr.
and inthe second 11 yr. after X-ray irradiation. The necessity for careful exami~
nation is pointed out and the operative removal of the affected parts of the intestine
is recommended.

Abstract: In women with amenorrhea, the dilatation of cervix
uteri induced an increase or decrease of the ex-
cretion of gonadotropins (G). In women who reacted
with a decrease of G excretion, menstruation occur-
red after 3-12 days, while in those in whom the G
excretion increased, amenorrhea persisted.

The Reitman-Frankel photometric method (described) is simple. quick and very
suitable for routine determinations of SGOT and SGPT. Problems such as the
dilution of highly active sera, standards and calibration curves, incubation period
and stability of the measured hydrazone colour are discussed. The results of this
photometric method are in good agreement with those of the electrophoretic me-

Hyaluronidasc activity in vivo in rabbbits is followed by an intradermal penetra-
tion test after sustained administration of ACTH, coriisone and phenylquinine.
After ACTH there is an inhibition for 3 days. A persistent inhibition was found with
cortisone and phenylquinine. The most potent inhibition is by cortisone.
