A meeting was attended by the undersigned on 8 December 1970, called byl (DC/Ops/OCS), to discuss 0 computer support 25X1 requirements. Others in attendance at the meeting were: 2. Results of the meeting were that initially, the two 2741 terminals for OEL and the UNIVAC 9200 for OSA will be handled as separate and independent requirements. Office of Communications will he responsible for crypto and transmission to the Office of Computer Services. OCS will be responsible for storing, scheduling, running and returning output from computer programs to the user. The long-range plan will be for OC to develop the capability to store, schedule and transmit computer programs from OCS and back to user. The follow-on system provides a single interface with the Sixth Floor datanet for the Agency Computer Center, resulting in a reduction of hardware for the computer center.
