Approved For Release 2005/02/10 : CIA-RDP75B00380Rg00200020023-7 25X1 JOURNAL OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL Tuesday - 27.March 1973 1? Accompanied Messrs. Broe and Houston j who appeared in executive session of the Church Subcommittee on Multi- national Corporations of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. A copy of the transcript is available in OLC. 2. I Wayne Birdsell, of the reporting firm Ward & Pau., called tsay o he was under pressure to get the transcript of Broe's testimony before the Multinational Corporations Subcommittee this morning. I checked with Pat Holt, Senate Foreign Relations Committee staff, who told me that some time tomorrow would be soon enough for us to return the transcript with our corrections. Later Jerome Levinson, of the Subcommittee staff, called to say that they must have the transcript this evening because of pressure from the press. I said I had already talked to Holt who said there was no great hurry. After consulting Messrs. Broe and Houston and a couple more phone calls from Levinson it was agreed that we would provide the corrected transcript before noon tomorrow and Messrs. Broe and Houston would be available shortly thereafter to discuss with Levinson any remaining problems as to how much of the record could be sanitized for publication. 3. Received a call from Robert Blum, Senate Foreign Relations Committee staff, who asked if we could provide the Committee with an Indochina atlas. I told him I would relay the request and be back in touch with him. 4. Received a call from Pamela Moore, in the office of Representative Stanford Parris (R. , Va. ), concerning the status of an Agency personnel case. After checking on the case I called her back and told her that I hoped to have word on the case during the week. 25X1 A MASSIF= 811 :XU:;:'!r'T 1 7i{t%! ?t iY SCr!Lf U tr s v i Ye 1 sr. rw, F- ?i ,Q gg ? 5ritt a. r,. ,;1 'y., J ?r?~ j CO IN, P Lip-" 1S J'a 1,tr Approved For Release 2005/02/10: CIA-RDP75 R0002006__f ._, (unl:-+ nrlnr: rb1e. ,. serf data or event) t
