Summary of Coverage
Mission C 6019, flown 10 September 1958, covers the coastal area of
China from near 'Ta'-ya. Wan (Bay), northeast of Hong Kong, to near
Ping-yang Tsui (Point), about 110 nautical miles northeast of Fu-chou. The
mission also covers inland China from the Amoy (Hsia-men) area across
southwesternFukien Province;, and the Kan-hsien area of southern Kiangsi
Province, to the Pei Chiang Valley, the Canton (Kuang-chou) area, and the
Tung Valley. The city complexes of Amoy and Canton are covered, also
a portion of Shan-tou (Swatow). One Fagot in flight is covered (see page 45,
item 9).
Quality
Quality of the coverage is mostly good. There are clouds near
Fu-chou and northward along the coast, near Shan-tou, and in several
scattered inland areas.
