To establish a Standing Committee of the Senate on Intelligence
Oversight, and for other purposes.
1 Be it enacted by the Senate and house of Representa
2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled ,
3 That this Act may be cited as the "Committee on Intelligence
4 Oversight Act of 1976".
5 SEC. 2. Sections 3 through 8 and sections 1.0 and 11 of
G this Act are enacted-
7 (1) as an exercise of the rulemaking power of the
8 Eenate, and as such they shall be considered as part of
9 tl.e rules of the Senate, ,and such rules shall supersede
10 of ler rules oralV to the extent that they- are inconsistent
