The Risti Fixed Field Site is located in a small patch of woods just 2.5 nautical miles (nm) inland of the Paldiski Bay, in Estonian SSR (Fig- ure 1 . The site can be negated on Mission= The poor quality of the photography poor quality of the photography 01 B 25X1 D 25X1 D 25X1 D 25X1 D 25X1 D 25X1 D on Missions recludes determina- tion as to whether the site is present or not; how- ever, at least 2 launch positions and an associated road network are evident on Mission Two additional launch positions became apparent 0 on Mission Launch Areas No 1 and 2 are both complete and are located 9.3 nm south and 5.8 nm south- southeast, respectively, from the fixed field site. The complex probably uses the rail facilities at Risti as a rail-to-road transfer point. The 2 launch areas and the field site are connected to Risti and to each other by a good, all-weather road system. The field site (Figure 2) is situated adjacent to a good, all-weather road leading west-south- west from Kloostri, and from which roads branch off to form loops serving the 4 launch positions. To the southwest of each position and connected by road to it is a linear clearing. No buildings are discernible in the immediate vicinity of the positions, but 2 former probable tent areas are noted to the northwest of the site. No erectors or other missile equipment are seen in the launch positions, which are all oriented in a northeast direction. 25X1 25X1 Approved For Releag,,2PO 3/06/20 ET Appt oved For Release 20 03/061200 CIA R MAPS OR CHARTS SAC.
