Control Bunker at Aktyubinsk IRBM Complex, USSR

1. The regimental command and control bunker at Aktyubinsk IRBM
Complex was constructed between mid-1964 and mid-1965. Details of the
construction of the bunker, including dimensions and interior partitioning,
could be obtained from only F_ I 25X1
2. The bunker is located immediately west of the site support
facility at the launch site. It was not present in and was 25X1

The thickness of the earth covering could not be determined.
4. The completed earth-covered bunker at Aktyubinsk is identical
in appearance to the regimental bunker at Taybola IRBM Complex. The
bunker at Taybola was not present in The area was cleared for
construction of the bunker byl _J and construction was underway
during the same time period as at Aktyubinsk. The bunker was complete by
