LENINGRAD HARDENED COMMUNICATIONS FACILITY, USSR
A hardened communications facility is at
59-46N 030-12E, approximately 10 nm south-
southwest of Leningrad, USSR (Figure 1). The
facility (Figure 2) consists of 2 low profile
earth-mounded buildings which are surrounded
by 1 probable and 4 hardened (subsurface)
antennas. The facility may also contain above-
ground liF antennas, but presently availabi.c
FACILITY
photographic coverage is not of sufficient in-
terpretability to determine the existence of
these antennas. The facility also contains a
support area which consists of 2 administration/
barracks buildings, 9 support buildings, and a
water tower.
One hardened (subsurface) antenna, de-
signated. number a on Figure 2, appears to be

oriented towards Moskva, USSK. The corre-
spondents of the other antennas are undeter-
mined. At the present time, no association can
be established for this facility with the communi-
cations command structure of the Soviet Stra-
tegic Rocket Forces. This facility has a slight
similarity to the facility recently identified at
