MEMORANDUM FOR: Recipients of Special Printing and
Lithographic Wage Rate Schedules

SUBJECT: Establishment of a New Pay Plan for Printing
and Lithographic Wage Employees Paid from
Special Wage Schedules
1. Attached is the new special wage rate schedule for
Agency printing and lithographic wage positions in the
OTE. This schedule is effective 10 July 1983
and replaces the 18 grade WPA schedule with an "XP," "XL," and
"XS" special wage rate schedule which includes 15 grade levels
for non-supervisors and 19 grade levels for supervisors. (C)
2. This new schedule is consistent with changes being made
in the evaluation and pay of printing and lithographic wage
positions throughout the Federal government. (U)
