1. Attachment A is a copy of the most recent progress report
on the subject program. It is based upon individual discussions and
reports status as of 15 January 1968. The report has been forwarded
to the Agency Historical Officer, and has been discussed with the
Deputy Director for Science and Technology.
2. Attachment B is a copy of a memoraudur received from
Mr. Duckett following discussion of the report. With reference to
paragraph 4 of this zraemorandun , your informal reactions have
been that 1 July 1968 is a realistic and attainable deadline for com-
pletion of the program.
