The identification of this installation as an armored unit is based on the presence of tank assault guns in the vehicle park, the tracked vehicle driver training activity, and the tank assault gun storage and maintenance facility which is basically similar to others throughout Communist China. All measurements have been made by the NPIC Technical Intelligence Division, and are considered to be accurate within 25X1 Approved For Release 2~~0~-~R~I~-RDP78T05161A000900010056-9 25X1 25X1 ' Approved For Release 2003/.~/~~ -RD 78T05161A000900 10056-9 CTA PIR-672+9 Tracked Vehicle Driver Tratnong Area ARMORED UN OT CH~JEH-SHAN V[ C l N iT-~ Approved For Release 2003~Yb~/~CRB~ ~~~ 0~ ~ 2000 Approximate oved For Release /g3Jl~4;~1 - 25X1 ~AJP~9 FUNCTIONAL A NAL (32 49N-113 5~) YSIS (See Figure 3) ' I. No tank assault gun or subcaliber firing ranges could be located; however, it is possible some firing is being done from the driver training area. VIII.
