The 112 Regiment, 38 Field Artillery Division,6 arrived in Hok'ou (N 22-32, E 103-57) in June. 1. Comment. This is the first indication we have had of a reinforcement of Hainan since early 1953. omme t. The 130 Division is believed to have left South China or ores n late 1952 or early 1953 as a component of the newly organized 54 Army. However there are indications that elements of the 44 Army, possibly including the entire 132 Division, may have joined the 43 Army on Hainan. It is not impossible that some units of the 130 Division may have been among 25X1 those elements sent to Hainan. .11 1--bent. unit cal e e 403 eon was attached to the 38 Division, 13 Army, and was operating against anti-Communist elements in the area south of the Red River.
