This report is one in a series on Sovi4t round-'Free and Logistic
installations being prepared for a DIA/CI4 P nel. `Lke series is being
coordinates, published and disseminated t~y PIC. The photographic
analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group,
the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production
Center 1Pic (DIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re-
port was performed by the Production Center. 1Plc.

A probable communications facility is sit-
uated on a 95-acre plot, 8 kilometers (km)
south of Uzhgorod, near the village of Kori-
tnyany (Figure 1). The installation contains
a transmitter building, an administration build-
ing, four multi-unit residences, four permanent
barracks, an equipment maintenance building,
two vehicle maintenance buildings, a small arms
range, and 18 small miscellaneous buildings.

might have been under construction at that time.
The area is not so sharply defined nor so neat
in appearance. By all con-
struction was complete and the area began to
appear as a well-defined rectangle situated in
surrounding fie ds of irregular shape.

Rood Service
A hard-surface, dual-lane road extends
1.1 km north to the Koritnyany-Khomok road
and to the highway leading 6.5 km north-
northeast to Uzhgorod.
Administrative and Troop Housing Area
Area D contains four multi-unit residences,
four permanent barracks, one administration
building, and six small, single story miscel-
laneous buildings.
Other Buildings and Facilities
One permanent transmitter building and

ings are located in Area H.
