rose raining Grounds near Cxncul (R 36/R,71) were occupied by Rumanian
troops. The troops were quartered in the villages around the troop training
grounds as they had been in 1950. During 'the summer months, they moved
to vwiaoden barracks and tent camps, but after completion of. the fall
maneuvers they departed. The detraining station for troop trains was in
Voila (R 35/1:; 79), It had a long side ramp which shoed no changes prior.
to .August 1951, Only a few Rumanian soldiers who had horse dram vehicles
were billeted in Rodbav in August 1951. They transported water to the troop
units quartered at the troop training grounds. New wooden structures to
quarter soldiers were constructed in the 'rooded area 'i3 southwest of Rod-
bav in 19519 They were constructed on the' edge of the woods for concealment
and were camouflaged with moss. They were' small, hairing; a length of about
15 peters and had two y extended into the woods 25X1

wooden barracks occupied by Rumanian soldiers were on the road from

or air activity were observed in Rodbav in August 1951.
