1. During January and February 1954 a general discarding of obsolete artillery
took place in the $yaanian Army. The following guns were scrapped at Resits:
-seventeen 47 mm, eight 57 ma, twenty-six 66 mai, thirty-eight ?5 MR, eleven
105 >e, sixteen 120 ma - all Skoda, produced 1910 to 1913. There were also
scrapped old Krupp guns of 1894 to 1901 to the extent of sixteen 150 mm,
twelve 170 amt, eight 190 mm.
2. During March 1954 the Cujir factory produced 2,380 Z9-GU 52 machine guns,
4,200 RP/52 carbines of the German 98 K model, and 2,580 automatic rifles of
Soviet type.
