25X1 Approved For Re ease MOAN: N March 1968 These reports are part of a continuing series of Photographic Interpretation Briefs on Soviet Naval Bases and Shipyards, Pacific Ocean Fleet, Part 1, initially disseminated as March 1968. Declass Review by NIMA/DOD 25X1 Approved For Release 2003/0f(w :'ggWT8T04759A008400010004-1 25X1 Approved For elease 2003/01.08: b 8T04759A008400010004-1 INTRODUCTION This is the third of a series of Photographic Interpretation Briefs covering Soviet naval bases and shipyards in the Pacific Ocean Fleet region. This particular publication encompasses southeastern Siberia and Sakhalin Island. All naval facilities and all shipyards or boatyards which appear to be capable of building or repairing PT or greater size vessels are included in this study. These brief reports are designed to provide basic facility inventory information in a pre- scribed geographic area. Previously published detailed NPIC studies of certain significant targets within the area are not superseded by this series. Each brief will contain identification and reference data, a brief summary of facilities, an annotated photograph, and a locator map of the installation. Additional groups, which will be published later for incorporation into this basic document, will be accompanied by an updated introduction and index. The final group will contain a complete index and area locator map. 25X1 Approved For Release 2003/11(3p : c- "18T04759A008400010004-1 25X1 roved For ReIeIQP2D INDEX Blagoveshchensk KGB Base Bukhta Abrek Naval Base Promyslovka Dunay Naval Missile Storage Dunay Naval Storage Depot, Putyatina Island Khabarovsk Naval Ammunition Depot Osipovskiy Harbor North Khabarovsk Naval Base Ostrov Zayachiy Khabarovsk Naval Headquarters Amur River Flotilla Khabarovsk Naval Ship Repair Yard Amurflot Khabarovsk Shipyard Amur Arutozat 876 Khabarovsk Shipyard Osipovskiy Kirov 368 Khabarovsk Shipyard Ussuri South Khabarovsk Shipyard Zayachiy Komsomolsk Shipyard Amur 199 Nakhodka Petroleum Products Storage Nakhodka Shipyard Nakhodka Ship Repair Yard Petrovka Shipyard Sovetskaya Gavan Missile Patrol Boat Base Sovetskaya Gavan Naval Base and Shipyard 263 Sovetskaya Gavan Naval Facility Bukhta Severnaya Sovetskaya Gavan Naval Storage Depot Sovetskaya GavanNaval Torpedo Depot PUG Sovetskaya Gavan Petroleum Storage Rybkino North UG Sovetskaya Gavan Petroleum Storage Rybkino South PUG Sovetskaya Gavan Reserve Fleet Base Sovetskaya Gavan Shipyard 1 Sovetskaya Gavan Submarine Base Page 49 1 3 5 51 53 55 57 59 61 63 65 67 7 9 11 13 69 71 73 75 77 79 81 83 85 87 25X9 Vladimir Submarine Base Vladimir Torpedo Boat Base Vladivostok/Bukhta Patrokl Seaplane Station Vladivostok Missile Patrol Boat Base Vladivostok Naval Base Bukhta Novik Vladivostok Naval Base Bukhta Paris Vladivostok Naval Base and Shipyard 202 Vladivostok Petroleum Storage Mys Lagernyy Vladivostok Shipyard Bukhta Diomid Vladivostok Ship Repair Yard Vladivostok Shipyard Ulis (Bystry) Vladivostok Submarine Base Bukhta Ulisa Zaliv Strelik Naval Missiles Storage Pavlovskogo Zaliv Strelik Submarine Base Pavlovskogo Zaliv Vladimira Port Facilities Zaliv Vostok Naval Base Livadiya Approved For ReIe? 2Q 21 23 25 27 29 31 33 35 37 39 41 43 45 47 25X1 25X1 Approved or Release 2003/ OS b Sovetskaya Gavan Missile Patrol Boat Base COUNTRY GEO COORDINATES USSR 49-OlN 140-18E WAC 0204 NPIC NO COMOR NO 29-B USATC, Series 200, Sheet M0204-20EL, 5th ed, Oct 66 SI 1 1; NPIC Proj. 11481AC/7 On the south shore of Bukhta Severnaya on the SW tip of Minchakova Peninsula, 2.5 nm SE of Pyatisotka.
