VORONEZH AIRCRAFT ASSEMBLY PLANT NO 64 VORONEZH, USSR
is located at 51-38-20N
39-15-20E, approximately 2.5 nautical miles
(nm) east-southeast of Voronezh, USSR (Fig-
ure 1). The plant is adjacent to Voronezh
Airfield East
by major roads and rail spurs.
The plant was covered by photography from
(Figure 3), which shows it containing approxi-
mately 2,634,360 square feet of floorspace. A
comparison of this photography with that from
shows
the completion of the subassembly building and
the workshop (items 3 and 12, Figure 2 and

serves the plant as a test and flyaway field, has
two concrete runways. The north-northeast/
south-southwest runway measures approxi-
mately 7,250 by 230 feet, and the northwest/
southeast runway measures approximately 3,200
by 210 feet. Both are serviceable, but the
northwest/southeast runway is probably used

reveals 11 BADGER, 15 CAT, one BEAGLE,
2 CAB, one COLT, one CREEK, and 2 probable
MAX at the airfield. Photography of
reveals 18 CAT/CUB, one probable CAB, and
3 unidentified small aircraft. The absence of
BADGER in II indicates that the plant
has probably changed to the production of trans -
port aircraft only.
