1, In response to Requirement No. C-RRI+-81.,315 (C 71~~-E~Ta) a

ec~m native stud was made i'~`om aerial photography date
of the Ssu-Mao Military Complex (22 47~T-100 58E),
NF 47.-8, AMS Series L549, in order to determine the extent oS' military
a~'ta.vity within the area.
2. No significant change was apparent in the Ssu=Mao Military-
Coffip7e~ which consists of ma.~.itary ax ea .s north, east, southeast and
within Ssu-Mao.
(~.) ,~tortla Ax'ea (regiment size) - contains 35 barracks, 8 mess-
halls, one large auditorium/adzt~..nistration building, one admin-
istration building, 12 support buildings, and 14 vehicle sheds
storage buildings. Immediately to the north and connected by
road is a secured area which contains one messhall~administration
build~,rig and 17 barracks storage building, One unoccupied 'r_~;iulkti
F'A position is located (7.6nm north of the main area,
(b) East Area (regiment size) ~- contains 44 barracks, ~ messhalls,'
one administration "building, 17 support buildings, and 12 vehicle
sheds,storage buildings. One unoccupied ~+-gun AAA site is located
north of the area. Adjacent areas to the south and west contain
48 barracks, 7 ~essha=lls, cane mdtc~r pool with 8 vehicle maintenance
sheds, 3 administration buildings, and 19 support/storage buildings.
An atl~.etic field, s~rimming pool and obstacle courses are within
tYie s.rea.
