1. This memorandum is in partial response to your requirement dated
7 August 1964 which requested information concerning several areas at the
Missile-or-Space-Associated Facility at Emba, USSR.
2. Attached herewith is a photo enlargement of the Operational Handling
Area from , with an acetate overlay
showing-the dimensions that you requested of the six major buildings. The
mensural data herein provided was computed by_the photo interpreter using
scale factors furnished by TID (NPIC). -Measurements are + 5 percent.
Building D, 180 by 70 feet, is the largest building in the area. This
building has a longitudinal monitor roof and is a drive-through building.
Buildings A, B, and C appear identical in size., each 155?by 65'feet, but
only "A" is a drive-through building. Buildings B and C are enclosed in a
common fence and apparently have a different function than "A". Buildings
E and F, measuring 125 by 65 feet and 85 by 60 feet, respectively, are both
drive-through buildings.
