the railroad station at night and loaded on oars. The Soviets
were recently forbidden to enter inns or fraternize irlith
German families.

engine aircraft, however, were still stationed at the airfield
on 10 September 1949. A formation of 25 fighters circled
the airfield without landing. The field was being enlarnecl,
