This project is in response to a requirement for updating the Soviet
Military Order of Battle Study of Zaporozhye Army Barracks Al-1.
Included within this report is a functional analysis of the installation,
an analysis of security and changes to the facility, and a vehicle and equip-
ment count. A count of equipment on the Zaporozhye Training Area SE was also
made (See Figure 4).

Zaporozhye Army Barracks Al-1 is located in the east central
part of Zaporozhye. The installation consists of a Barracks and
Administration Area, a Barracks Area, a Barracks and Quarters Area,
10 Vehicle Storage/Maintenance Areas, and a Probable General Storage
Area (See Figure 3).

III. SECURITY (See Figure 2)
All of the installation except for the barracks and quarters area
is externally secured by a single fence/wall. Within the installation
each of the vehicle storage/maintenance areas are separately secured.

area Bh and one in area Bj.
