In and around the area are several tertiary roads, with one extending approximately three km south with direct access to the main Kolomyya-Chernovtsy road. The Kolomyya- Chernovtsy railroad is also located approxi- mately three km south q~ the -probable ammu- nition storage area, extending generally east to southeast, and westcto northwest. Five km northwest of the installation is the Kolomyya Airfield, with a 6,600- by 250-foot concrete runway. TC5-7305/64 NPIC/R-609/64 Within the I stallation (Figures 2 and 3) are two probgbl~e support buildings and eight probable ammunition storage buildings. All of these buildings are within a security fence. .A possible firebreak surrounds the entire in- stallatian. A tertiary road enters the in- stallation from the east, joining another road, which leads to a shipping and receiving area located ' on the northeast portion of the in- stallation. KEYHOLE photography between 25X1 D reveals no significant changes 25X1 D within the installation. C, DESCRIPTION OF INSTALLATION i Railroad Service There is direct access to the Kolomyya- Chernovtsy railroad one km south of the storage area. Road Service There are several tertiary roads in and around the storage area. The main Koloa- Chernovtsy road is approximately one km south of the storage area. Aircraft Landi Strip There are In landing strips in or around the area; however, the Kolomyya Airfield is approximately five km northwest. The runway has a concrete rface and is 6,600 by 250 feet.
