INTRODUCTION
This re ort?has been prepared in response
to NSA which requests it detailed
photographic -interpretation of the communica-
tion facilities within the 'ltatka ICl3\I Complex
and within the Yurva ICIVA, Complex.
The fair* quality photography coupled with
the general site i onditinn limit interpretation
to the extent that a firm antenna count is nat
possible nor are-the actual antenna dimensions
antenna azimuths
obtainable.
is limited to
ITATKA COMMUNICATIONS FACILITY
The Itatka Communications Facilita' at
45-44-00N R5-21-201' is Q-8 nautical miles (nm\
southwest of the Complex Support Facility of
the Itatka ICBM Complex.
The facility is served by an improved road
which terminates at the facility's 140-by- 45
foot main control building, kFigures l and 2).-
Si> general support buildings are in the sotith-
west corner of the facility along with several
smaller miscellaneous buildings.
There are 4 antennas visible: I double
day/night pair of I IF rhombic antennas oriented
westward and I day knight pair of H17 antennas oriented north-northwest. \leasure-
ments, including azimuths, are given on Figure
2; however, it should be noted that the antennas
have been identified by the configuration of
areas cleared of vegetation. Therefore the di-
mensions of tht actual antennas, are only ap-
proximate. Transmission lines can be observed radiating -front the control building,,=and ter-
minating at eachRintennti.
The site is fence secured and is, com-
patible with the signature of other known 1013:\1
YURYA COMMUNICATIONS FACILITY'
Vura Communications' Facility is at 50-06=
ION 40-18-301=, just 2.0 nm from the Complex
Support Facility of the-Pura IC13NI Complex.-

tennas (Figure 3)-limit:; interpretation to sitcli -
an extent that a firm coEt+it of antennas cannot
be documented; however, some probable anxen%a
locations have been included and shownn

t>L considered only approximate. ?
Access to the site is by wav-of-an improved
road which terminates at the
main` control building.,., .\ second building;
mav'i~also serve .primarily
it control n+ilding. There are 5 other
general support buildings and 2 smaller build
inks within the control area.
The antennas, which are oriented southwest
and south-southeast, include I pair ofhorizontitl
dipoles (2 antennas), I possible 'A"' antenna, I
pair of probable horizontal dipoles, and 2 pro i-
able horizontal 4ipole'antennas. Azimuths hai
been given on Figure 4 for the antennas for whie-I
thr'.orientation can be determined with a rcason-
ablu'd~gri'e of confideno,e. -
The facility is connected by road to the
,primary road network which serves the entire.
area.
The antennas numbered on Figures 2 and
4 are- k~yed to the Location and Probable Corre-
spondents Map, Figure 5.
