1. At 0500'.on 24 July 1954, 26 trucks with pontoons and engineer equipment
were unloaded at the Lieberose railroad station from a train which arrived
from the direction of Frankfurt/Oder. Motor vehicles
were seen. The column marched owar Camp eberose.I
2. At 1900 on 31 July, 8 T-34/85 tanks 4 x 57-M AT
guns, about 25 trucks and 8 boxcar-
loads of personnel were entrained, according to an officer, for Eberswalde. 2
3. At 0645 on 3 August, a truck occupied by soldiers wearing black-bordered
black epaulets was seen en route toward Panzer Kaserne (2181) in Neubranden-
burg for the first time after a prolonged period of interruption. No
indications of an unloading were seen at the Neubrandenburg railroad
station immediately after the observation of this truck. At about 1300, a
column of 15 trucks with pontoons and doldiers wearing black-bordered

4. At 1000 on 3 August, a shipment of 8 boxcars and 38 flatcars arrived at the
Magdeburg-Brueckfeld railroad station from the direction of Biederitz.
Unloading was completed in about 43 minutes. Unloaded material ingludeds
8 new-six-wheel amphibious vehicles of a new type, 22 trucks with TMP-
-pontoon sections, 6 trucks with beams and boards, 2 trucks with motor-
boats, an4 200 soldiers wearing black-bordered black epaulets. The amphibious
vehicles were 5 to 6 meters long, 2.4 meters wide and, without cover,
2 meters high and had a four winged screw, a rhombic-shaped hull and a
cover similar to that of a DUKV 353-type vehicle, The detrained unit left
for Seeckt Kaserne (5287).
Since, on 3 August, the Seeckt Kaserne was occupi
by an estimated 1,200 soldiers wearing black-bordered black epaulets, it
was assumed that several shipments were detrained in Magdeburg during the
preceding night. Prior to the unloading on 3 August, 24 six-wheel vehicles 25X1
of a new type, about 50 trucks with TMP-pontoon sections, special trucks
and equipment trucks were observed in the barracks yard at 0900. On 6 August,
