Approximately 103 officers and enlisted personnel were as-signed to this battery, Each of the firing sections had four 85mm AAA Guns with seven men per gun. A field telephone was located in each gun position and as connected to the battery commander's stationo There was no lateral tel^phone connection between gun positions and all calls had to be made through the battery commander s switchboard. The gun positions were placed in a circular pattern and approximately 25 meters apart. Each of the gun positions con- tained approximately 30 AAA shells, The technical and range finder platoon was composed of 10 fire range computors and four range finds operator personnel.
