1. Attached is a copy of the Report which
I requested from Secretary Weinberger's office.
2. As we discussed, my request for the report was made
on the assumption that it would be seen by you,
and the Director's office only. Nevertheless, in order to
support the Director for the upcoming NSC discussion, you should
pass on to OSWR whatever you think necessary for them to be able
to describe clearly where their analysis of Soviet reactions
to CSB may differ from the
3. You should plan on including this report in the
Director's NSC package. He has not yet had a chance to see
it. We may, in fact, want to offer it to him for his back-
ground reading during his upcoming trip.
