this subject at the 31 August 1973 Executive Council session. I
have studied them and have a clear understanding of their import.
I recommend revision of the original text to read as attached.

SUBJECT: NASA Imagery
NPIC and COMIREX are authorized to continue to review NASA
satellite imagery: (1) to identify imagery which might inadvertently
jeopardize classified reconnaissance programs, and (2) to identify
photographs of certain subjects within foreign areas, which it is in the
national interest that the appropriate government not be aware that we
hold. ORD is authorized to continue to provide technical information
as to satellite sensors to NASA for use in resources assessment.
