I have sooken w'th several Technical Officers in ORD regarding representation that his company has STAT a special technique for vacuum deposition of titamium and the like. From our conversations, I conclude that this area is not a major problem in any of our current research program areas. 2. I also took the liberty to contact OTS about this communication. Discussions with two individuals there lead to the same conclusion. 3. On the basis of the above, a visit tol would not STAT appear to be a priority item. Obviously, if you have equities to protect or augment with Admiral Turner, we can send someone on a "fact-finding" mission.
